Description:  By 1988 most of the signs on the SCL units had disappeared. I made this sign with a yellow piece of poster board and a black marker. I added the sign in Newberry and planned on retrieving the sign when they returned to Newberry. The power was swapped in Baldwin and I never saw my sign again.

Description:  This curvy connection was added about 1985 so Seaboard System could remove the diamond just behind me. Before 1985 this spur was served from Gainesville. It's now served by the local from Baldwin seen here.

Description:  I just took a shot of this train about 2 miles north of here, and then heard the emergency call from the train crew. After seeing this I put my camera away and called it a day. The 58 year old grandmother pulled into the path of this train. The train crew reported they were doing 60 mph at the time with no chance to break.
